*P.S. .. When taking kitten home..... 

Best area for kitten should include a small area  (for a week or two ) where litter pan will be kept to accustom Ragdoll baby to his/her new routine.  This will allow him/her to realize their new space, since this is a big adjustment for them.  Baby's diet shouldn't be changed to avoid upset, if it is, should be done slowly.

  Of course baby wouldn't mind sleeping with you :) at that time period, although not everyone

wouldn't mind:)
